Well the Yamaha generator bit it after only 5 months. We ended up buying a new honda 3000, sucker is nice. Well made quiet, electric start. We love it. Anyhow, been having some issues with my inverter/charger. It's a very old freedom, my electric razor and coffee grinder fried. Anyhow, the charger is suddenly acting up, so i ordered a new Magnum Energy inverter with remote panel, i am going to be setting it up with a sub panel, so i am in the process of making that panel. Hopefully get it started this weekend or first part of next week. Not a cheap couple of weeks at any rate, these are two major items, so it was not a happy event.

It's also been freezing and the only heat we have is based off electricity so we are running the generator up until 10, then shutting off. and bundling up. hopefully the cold snap will be over tomorrow.

That said I hope to get the engine room organized, i will be removing the diesel genset that is currently in there. The thing is so noisy its unusable, not to mention it overheats. Hopefully I'll get some small projects off the list after the major ones... but we all know those never wear off.
